Certified Facilitator (CFR)

The Certified Facilitator Representative (CFR) is a certification created by the I-CAB Foundation to recognize individuals (often consultants and/or representatives of utilizing organizations) that have been able to demonstrate application level competency with respect to the I-CAB assessment/development process and the underlying methodology and ethical expectations.


The CFR competencies assessed were selected based on the abilities/expectations necessary for a person that is responsible for the optimal integration of the I-CAB Functional Competency Assessment and Development Process to properly execute into internal personnel development processes.


Certification Process

Individuals or company representatives interested in pursuing the CFR certification must complete the following steps:

  1. Register and complete the I-CAB Competency Assessment system orientation in Demo Mode
  2. Review resource documentation
  3. Successfully complete the Facilitator Assessment with all competencies at the Application level
  4. Maintain certification with a score of Application level for all competencies via annual reassessment
  5. Adhere to and ensure the linked organizations adheres to the I-CAB Foundation ethical use standards


​Certification Benefits

The Certified Facilitator Representative (CFR) certification awards the following benefits:

  • Certificate of completion to the individual that has successfully completed the above criteria
  • Seventy (70) competency assessment credits for use within the CFR’s organization or transferable to the CFR’s client organizations (topped up annually if certification is maintained accordingly)
  • The CFR’s organization will be awarded a star weighting within the I-CAB badge implementation rating
